Content is king, but before you go all out, you need to establish your voice, then secure and define your audience. You need to know exactly who you are.
Sometime cookie cutter content is fast but is has no longevity. This isn't 2015 and the amount of people that want to see genuine and authentic content is rising. Consumers are smarter than they were before. They want to see real stories, they want a real message, and buy from brands they believe in.
Do I need copywriting?
Absolutely. Copywriting is persuasive writing that inspires, motivates, or makes people take action, the goal is to make people buy generate sales and increase conversions, sign-ups, and revenue. In other words, it's marketing! You can see copywriting in emails, on ads, catalogs, websites, etc. Copywriting is a must!

The difference between content and copywriting is CONTENT! You guessed it. Content is educational (informational) writing that provides extended value to your audience, you aren't getting transactions for content writing. Stop being TRANSACITONAL.

Do Google and Facebook ads work?

Facebook Ads and Google ads can work! You have to have the right strategy and patience! In the fitness industry, gym owners spend tons of money on Facebook Ads with corporate approved agencies which is a waste of money.
In this example, these companies run the same type of ads and don't get creative or use authentic story telling! They are called ad creatives for a reason! For ads to work you must have a great ad and for ads to serve their purpose you must have great copy which all links back to a quality stragtegic website (SEO).
